Mar 26, 2018 First time to visit this doctor but she made me feel very comfortable. Will recommend and be back next year. She also told me to call the office if I ever had any problems. Mar 20, 2018 Dr. Ahern was very friendly, polite and professional. I liked her very much and will continue to visit her office. Her staff was also friendly and courteous. Mar 5, 2018 Dr Ahern was very thorough and helpful. Mar 2, 2018 I would refer this physician to family and friends Feb 28, 2018 Provider was great! Feb 20, 2018 Everyone was very nice & courteous. Feb 19, 2018 It took 5 months to get this dermo appointment - as a regular client, I think this is very poor. I asked to be put on a back-up list for cancellations, but in 5 months, I never got a call. I discussed this with my doctor and we hope to improve this in the future. Feb 19, 2018 Dr. Ahern was fine Feb 13, 2018 Waited about 30 min in waiting room. Waited about 30 min in exam room before doctor came in. Waiting was longer than expected. Feb 12, 2018 They were very friendly, while staying focused and to the point. Also, I really appreciate their ability to fit me in on short notice for an appointment, as my skin condition was getting desperate. Feb 6, 2018 I dont think this new dr sees her patients as actual people. She was very rigid and used medical terms that made no sense. she seemed like someone who doesn't like to be around ppl, like she had better things to do. Feb 5, 2018 I had to schedule my appointment nearly 4 months in advance and received almost no satisfaction from my visit. All of my concerns were \"tabled\" and she said we would just have to watch for other symptoms (i.e., growth on my cheek, scabbing on another place on my face, clogged pores, etc.). The most urgent purpose of the visit was for eczema, but because I did not currently have severe symptoms, I was offered no guidance for managing when symptoms launched, she didn't review my previous history (including pictures in my file), and claimed I would be able to get an appointment as needed, which the assistant subsequently indicated was not likely due to lack of available appointments. My PCP is a better resource for treating my skin issues. Feb 4, 2018 None Jan 26, 2018 Dr. Ahern is a caring individual. I really appreciate her manner and approach to me - she is thorough and makes sure I understand what the medical terms mean. Her staff, with the exception of one individual at the front desk, is extremely helpful and friendly. I appreciate being treated like a real person when I go in. One individual at the desk is a bit gruff, but I know she has a hard job, and a job she doesn't seem to like much. Jan 26, 2018 I was very happy, my problem was Resolved in a week. Jan 22, 2018 It took over 3 months to get in to see this doctor. Although my condition was not an emergency, I thought this was extreme. They did call 2 or 3 times about a cancellation, but I could not leave work to go to these appointments. Jan 22, 2018 I arrived about 10 minutes before the appointment and waited a total of 45 minutes before I was called back to exam room. Then after nurse check-in waited another 10-12 minutes before doctor arrived. In total it was a bit more than an hour after I arrived at the office before I actually saw the doctor. Jan 21, 2018 I really like Dr. Ahern. Jan 21, 2018 DR AHERN AND STAFF ARE AWESOME . THIS VISIT WAS GREAT COULD NOT ASK FOR BETTER. Jan 12, 2018 Confident in this physician Jan 2, 2018 Dr. Ahern was nice but not overly friendly which would have made me feel more comfortable being I was a new patient and I was getting a full body mole check. Dec 3, 2017 she was just wonderful helped me in every way she was interested in my problems and issues and everything I went in was taken care of thank you very much Nov 12, 2017 good Oct 17, 2017 1st time I met *Dr Ahern so have not had a chance to really establish a good relationship yet. Sep 18, 2017 She was very robotic. Very quick and I seemed more like a number than a person and due to this I felt I couldn't ask questions that were on my mind. Sep 17, 2017 I inquired about product line of skin care. Neither appeared interested or knowledgeable. I was told to call back when the person was in. No help whatsoever. Sep 4, 2017 Except for the 90 day lead time required to get an appointment, this provider and the nurse / assistant were both very professional and personable. Aug 15, 2017 No bad experiences Aug 3, 2017 you could give the care provider more time to spend with patients Jul 31, 2017 I was extremely nervous meeting this doctor for the first time, and because she was running behind I felt the need to rush - and try to relate my skin issues hurriedly. I did a poor job of communicating with the doctor. It was apparent the assistant had mentioned one of several skin issues I wanted to talk about, but to me this was one of the least worrisome. I feel the visit got off to a rocky start because of my anxiousness. I didn't ask all the questions I had - next time I'll make a list. The doctor did not seem friendly to me, but it may have been my fault. That being said I would recommend her, and I will, hopefully, continue to be a patient. Jul 17, 2017 *Dr. Ahern was very professional and made me comfortable. Jul 15, 2017 Answered all of my questions. Jul 10, 2017 I had forgotten to ask her a question before she left the room. I was shocked after receiving the diagnosis and treatment plan. I, being African American (she is white), don't think she would be able to comprehend the negative impact of the treatment plan. There are no African American dermatologists in the Tri-state. Jul 3, 2017 It is difficult to answer some of these questions, because this was my first visit to this physician. I can't speak to any level of confidence at this point; I can't recommend her at this point. It is not a bad reflection on her. Jun 26, 2017 Dr. Ahern was great and very helpful. May 26, 2017 she was very cool when she came in the room but did warm up some during the appointment. May 9, 2017 I was told she wasn't sure what the spots on my face were , but she recommended a laser resurfacing treatment to get rid of them as well as \" all the wrinkles , but its a very invasive procedure and you'll need about a week off of work \" when I explained that wasn't an option , I was told \" Oh you can call and make another apt with the dr that does it \" I again explained how long it took me to get my initial appt , I was again brushed off with the whole \" week off \" thing so I gave up and just wanted to leave . I also never mentioned any problem with my wrinkles ... Apr 16, 2017 The doctor seemed to know her stuff but wasn't that thorough. She seemed kinda robotic but I think maybe that could just be her. she did smile, made me feel at ease and comfortable.
