Pharmacy Residents are an integral part of our team! Throughout the residency year, residents are expected to gain increasing independence and proficiency in pharmacy practice and specialized areas. Pharmacy Residents contribute to the ongoing advancement of the pharmacy enterprise at St. Elizabeth Healthcare by providing evidence-based patient care, conducting formulary stewardship, and executing research.

Wellness & Resilience Program

The goal of our Wellness and Resilience Program is to build character and resilience, while preventing burnout. Residency will be stressful. St. Elizabeth Healthcare believes in supporting pharmacy residents in their wellness and development of resilience through the following programs and initiatives:

  • Orientation to Wellness and Resilience
  • Resident Retreats – 1st half of year, 2nd half of year
  • Yearlong Mentorship Program
  • Resiliency Workshops – Quarterly
  • Mind-Body Skill Workshops – Quarterly
  • Monthly Residency Program Director One-on-One’s
  • Employee Assistance Program
