26 CANCER CENTER CAMPAIGN REPORT ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT OFFICES Administrative work areas encourage interdepartmental interaction and allow our care teams to receive the support they need to provide stateof-the-art care for our patients. Located along exterior walls on the upper floors of the Cancer Center, these spaces offer expansive views and lots of natural light to help staff feel attentive and invigorated. PATIENT EXAM ROOMS Our exam rooms are designed with patient comfort and safety in mind. Spacious enough to accommodate family members who wish to accompany patients, these spaces offer a clean, protective, aesthetically pleasing environment with state-of-the-art equipment and technology. PATIENT & FAMILy CONSULTATION ROOMS Physicians, nurses and other members of the patient care team use these spaces to meet with patients and families to discuss treatment options and answer any questions they may have. Consultation rooms are designed to be calm, private spaces where patients and families feel welcomed, supported and empowered to be a part of their or their loved one’s care. GARDEN BENCHES, TABLES & PLANTERS Benches and tables furnish the garden courtyard, providing a unique opportunity for seating and informal gathering spaces in this prominent and popular location for patients, families and associates. Architectural planters filled with colorful seasonal plantings provide wyear-round visual interest to stimulate the imagination.
