St. Elizabeth Foundation Cancer Center Campaign Report

2 CANCER CENTER CAMPAIGN REPORT GARREN COLVIN When we broke ground on the St. Elizabeth Cancer Center in 2018, we made a promise to this community to change the cancer narrative in our region from one of grim statistics to better outcomes and a brighter future for us all. And today, because of you, we are one step closer to fulfilling that promise. I cannot express my appreciation enough to the associates, physicians and community members who have helped make this vision a reality. The Cancer Center truly was built for and by this community. The number of lives that will be changed – and saved – by the people, programs and medicine within its halls is overwhelming. On behalf of our entire region, thank you. I cannot wait to witness the impact of your generosity in the fight against cancer and the enhanced health of our community. President and Chief Executive Officer, St. Elizabeth Healthcare BOB HOFFER In 2017, St. Elizabeth Foundation set an ambitious goal to raise $35 million for the Cancer Center. This goal was the largest in Foundation history and was made even more challenging when COVID-19 impacted our entire world. However, even when faced with a pandemic, the passionate support of our community overcame all obstacles. The dedication of our entire St Elizabeth Foundation family grew even stronger as friends and neighbors banded together to sustain our associates on the front lines. In the midst of this historic crisis and uncertainty, we opened the doors to new hope, celebrating the most successful campaign in our organization’s history. Thank you for believing in our cause, inspiring others and never losing sight of our goal. The St. Elizabeth Cancer Center is a wonderful example of our community’s generosity and shared commitment to better health, for which we are continually grateful. Thank you!
