David Ball was having such a hard time getting around with his painful hip. He was barely getting himself to and from work every day. David had such a great experience with St. Elizabeth with the first hip replacement, he came back soon after to get the left hip replaced.

Mark Goetting
Mark Goetting’s knees had been bothering him for a long time before he decided to have total knee replacement surgery. He found he was walking carefully and taking steps one-by-one. He decided to have total knee replacement surgery one both his knees at the St. Elizabeth Total Joint Center with Dr. Hummel from OrthoCincy Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine. “Everything exceeded my expectations,” Mark says. “It was a great experience for me.”
Nancy Harkness
Nancy Harkness finally had enough, her quality of life was becoming an issue. That is when she decided to have her knee replacement at the St. Elizabeth Total Joint Center. Nancy is happy with the choice and she is dancing with her husband again. She said, “I couldn’t have been happier with the care at St. Elizabeth Healthcare.”
Patricia Heck
After suffering from chronic knee pain for over 10 years, one day her knee gave out as she was doing housework. Patricia Heck finally had enough. It was time for a total knee replacement.
Carol Irbin
Carol Irbin has had problems with her joints. She had rheumatoid arthritis in both of her knees and a fall on her shoulder caused arthritis to form in that joint. Because of these issues Carol had shoulder replacement surgery in 2016, and knee replacement surgeries in 2017 and 2018.

Mark Kelly
Prior to his knee replacement surgery, Mark Kelly’s pain kept him up at night. His job required a lot of walking and he started to notice that he couldn’t make it through the day without taking breaks.

Richard suffers from osteoarthritis which often affects multiple joints. Nancy Murphy
Nancy Murphy was having problems with her hip and found she had to cut back on her volunteer work and decrease her activity level. That is when she realized it was time to consider a total hip replacement at the St. Elizabeth Total Joint Center. She found such pain relief, two months later she made an appointment to have a hip replacement on her left hip.

Janet Necamp was putting off having knee replacement surgery because she was the sole caregiver for her husband. But the pain was getting so she couldn’t move well, and was in severe pain after driving.
Jackie Newton
Since her traumatic fall in 1998, Jackie Newton had been living with the effects of a left shoulder that had been shattered. She was no longer able to take care of herself and could barely walk because of the pain.
Cheryl Persinger
For more than three years, Cheryl Persinger had trouble walking and couldn’t get a full night’s rest. She had tried conservative treatment, but the pain was getting overwhelming.

Robert Pettit didn’t have the pain normally associated with osteoarthritis in his hips, but he had lost significant range of motion. After noticing he could barely bend to put his socks on, he went to see a doctor.
R. J. Seifert
R.J. Seifert relied on the strength of his knees as he was climbing stairs and showing houses as a residential real estate agent. He is glad he decided to have his knee replacement at the St. Elizabeth Total Joint Center, and he thinks you would be too. R.J. says, “It’s been almost six years and I would do it again today.”
