Youth E-Cigarette and Vaping Education
As the e-cigarette and vaping epidemic continues to grow, St. Elizabeth is committed to providing the education and care needed to stop this crisis in our community. The St. Elizabeth Foundation, through the employee Vision Campaign, has raised funds to help us bring education on this topic to students and the community. On this page, we have gathered information and resources that teachers, students, administrators, and youth leaders can use to bring this message to students in Northern Kentucky, Southeastern Indiana, Greater Cincinnati, and beyond.
Take a look at the available resources and use the Contact Us form to send any questions to us. We have staff available to consult with organizations that are looking to help support this initiative through programming or educational outreach.
Get the Facts!
Nicotine in youth has been proven to harm adolescent brain development, reduce impulse control, increase risk of mood disorder, and negatively impact attention and cognition.
St. Elizabeth is right here, right now to help with this growing problem:
St. Elizabeth Healthcare has developed a unique and informative presentation focused on the growing issue of e-cigarettes, such as vapes and Juuls, as well as traditional tobacco products. We bring this program at no charge to local schools and other community locations for audiences including students, parents, teachers, school administrators, and any others interested in this topic.
Presentations may be customized to specific needs of the audience, setting, and age groups, and can be as brief as 15 minutes, or more in-depth up to 45 minutes to an hour. For more information call 859-301-WELL (9355) or fill out the contact form on this page.
