All patients are to be inside the building, in the shelter house or in the smoking area after dark unless accompanied by a staff member. Group Therapy Group therapy will take place during the following times daily: 9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. 9:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. Please Note: All groups are mandatory and it is the patient’s responsibility to be within groups on time. Meals Three hot meals will be served each day. All meals are served in the cafeteria and snacks are available in the patient kitchen. If you are on a special diet, food will be prepared according to your physician’s orders. (Please make staff aware of any food allergies or special dietary needs upon admission.) Medications All medications (prescribed or over the counter) brought to the facility must be locked at the nurses’ station and returned upon discharge. No medication is to be kept in patient room, unless ordered by physician. Any patient found to be taking any medications that have not been prescribed at the facility or providing a positive urine drug screen (after ample time for elimination) could be immediately discharged from the program. Any medications or belongings left at the facility after discharge will be kept for 30 days, then discarded. Telephones and Televisions Two phones are provided for patient personal use and to make follow-up treatment appointments. There is a five minute limit per phone call. Patient phones do not accept incoming calls. Please encourage family to wait for you to call them. Should a patient’s family member wish to speak with staff, they may call (859) 572-3500 and press option 2. Telephone hours are subject to change at the sole discretion of the staff. There are two televisions available for patient use during non-group times.
