- The Hidden Valley Fruit Farm is hosting an Apple Cider Festival this weekend, which means there will be hayride tours, live music, train rides and a bounce house for the kids, a 7-acre corn maze and food and craft vendors. Apples are $25 per half-bushel (about 24 lbs. worth of apples) and the varieties ripen at different times, so call ahead if you’re looking for a particular kind. Concord grapes are also available.

- At Irons Fruit Farm, there are also a variety of apples available. Call 513-932-2853 ahead of your visit to check on crop supply, weather conditions and hours. - If picking the apples yourself is not really your thing, you can still get the fresh apples and other produce at McGlasson’s roadside stand. Directions are available on their website, along with information to help you avoid a road closure.

- Pringles Orchard frequently updates their Facebook page with news about the apple crop, weather and even fun recipes. To stay up to date, visit the page.
