Kraft Macaroni & Cheese is a favorite for children and adults alike. Last week, the company introduced delicious news for some – and devastating news for others.
It is in the process of revamping family-friendly macaroni meal to leave out synthetic coloring and preservatives. Bottom line, that fake yellow-orange color powder is going away.
Yahoo! Health says this isn’t the first move Kraft made to create more natural products. In 2014, the company launched Mac & Cheese Boxed Shapes with no synthetic colors, and in January 2015 the it dropped artificial preservatives from the recipe as well.
What are will Kraft replace the synthetic colors with? Natural ingredients like paprika, annatto and turmeric.
We think that’s a win for macaroni lovers everywhere.
