Being right all the time is not actually possible, because doing so would require an inhuman perfection. We are all wrong at some point or another.
So why does it seem like there are some people who, no matter what the situation or argument at hand, insist they are right?
Arguing with these types of people is challenging because you often know they are wrong, but no shred of logical evidence will convince them so because their side of the argument is not rooted in evidence ““ they are simply always right.
Has anyone ever accused you, halfway through an argument, of being addicted to being right? It may be their last resort to convince you you are wrong, especially if you are stubborn. And, as much as you hate to admit it, it could be rooted in truth.

Besides addressing these issues, admitting you are wrong will also admit to peers and coworkers that you are human, that you make mistakes and that you are conscious of them. It will make you seem more authentic and approachable, which are both positives in the workplace.
