‘Tis the season of giving, and what better way to give than to give back?
Whether you’re celebrating #GivingTuesday or all season long, organizations across the Tri-State are looking for volunteers to help spread some holiday cheer. Opportunities range from a single act of kindness to the start of a new family holiday tradition.
Please visit each website for more information, including available times and volunteer opportunities.
Share a holiday meal

- Gather your family, friends or coworkers and prepare a family style dinner for cancer patients who are staying at Hope Lodge, a home for people who need temporary, comfortable and supportive accommodations offered free of charge during cancer treatment.
- Serve a warm meal, along with stability and hope, to neighborhood residents of Our Daily Bread ministry in Over-the-Rhine. Volunteers can help prepare and serve meals, pick-up and deliver food, restock/organize food pantry and supply and prepare a fruit salad for guests.
- Share the gift of warmth through St. Vincent de Paul’s coat distribution program. Volunteers help organize donations and help people pick and choose coat they want.
- You can donate food at any time to the Freestore Foodbank, but the organization is currently looking for volunteers to distribute holiday food boxes.

Create your own volunteer opportunity
- Start a food drive or host a bake sale during the holiday season and donate the proceeds to your favorite nonprofit organization. Remember, little acts of kindness go a long way.
