It’s no secret fast food burgers aren’t good for us, but how bad could they really be? A recent Harvard study found prostate cancer patients who consumed a high-fat diet have a much higher risk of death than their healthy counterparts.
According to CBS News, the study followed the eating habits of almost one thousand patients diagnosed with prostate cancer . Researchers found patients with a diet high in fat, dairy and refined grains were more than twice as likely to die from prostate cancer and 67 percent more likely to die from any other cause. The men who followed a healthier diet were 36 percent less likely to die from any cause.
