Considering adoption?
For those of you who already have a dog in your life, great! For anyone considering adopting, make sure you’re ready for the commitment. Dogs, and especially puppies, take a lot of time to care for and train. If you adopt a puppy without being fully prepared for it, you’re just adding more responsibility and stress to your plate.
Can’t adopt? No problem! Local shelters always need volunteers. You can spend as much time as you’d like with the animals, without having the daily responsibility of the caring for a dog. Even better, the dogs get much-needed exercise and love.
