When Eric Warning became a nurse in 2010, it was a dream coming to fruition after years of hard work.
Warning started at the Florence Emergency Department in 2007 as a technician, which involved assisting the Emergency Department treatment team to provide quality care to patients. But, he soon realized he wanted to expand his knowledge so the next step was nursing school.
Warning graduated and was hired into an RN position in 2010, continuing to provide quality care to patients, now in the role of a nurse. He is extremely involved in the Florence Emergency Department, mentoring and transitioning students and newly hired nurses into the department. He often leads the department as a charge nurse.
Warning strives to provide excellent care and customer service to his patients and is dedicated to his team. He also is a key participant in the fundraising for the Heart Mini, HeartChase and Dragon Boat Festival.
As a Catholic healthcare ministry, St. Elizabeth provides comprehensive and compassionate care that improves the health of the people they serve. One of the core values all St. Elizabeth employees adhere to is excellence, which Warning’s supervisors agree, he embodies.
Happy Nurses Week, Eric!
