Paraphilia

Overview

Paraphilia involves sexual behaviors generally considered harmful or unacceptable or that are illegal. Examples include sex involving humiliating or hurting oneself (masochism) or another (sadism), and watching unsuspecting people having sex (voyeurism).

Treatments

Treatment may include talk therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and medications.
