Overview

Non-Hodgkin lymphoma is cancer that starts in the body's germ-fighting system, called the lymphatic system. It happens when white blood cells, called lymphocytes, grow and form tumors throughout the body.

Symptoms

Symptoms may include swollen lymph nodes, fever, belly or chest pain, and feeling very tired.

Treatments

Treatments may include chemotherapy, radiation therapy and bone marrow transplant, also called stem cell transplant. Other treatments may include targeted medicines and immunotherapy.
