Overview
With nerve compression syndrome, a nerve is damaged from overuse or compression. Carpal tunnel syndrome, which results in a pinched nerve in the wrist, is an example.
Symptoms
Pain, weakness, numbness, and tingling in the affected area are symptoms.
Treatments
Treatments are pain relievers, splints, corticosteroid injections, physical therapy, and surgery.
