Granuloma

Overview

Granuloma is a small area of inflammation in tissue. A common cause is an infection. Granulomas most frequently occur in the lungs but can occur elsewhere in the body.

Symptoms

There are no signs or symptoms of lung granulomas. Skin granulomas appear as red lumps.

Treatments

No treatment is needed for lung granulomas. Skin granulomas can be removed.
