Choriocarcinoma is a type of cancer that starts as a growth of cells in the uterus. This type of cancer grows quickly. It often happens after unusual growth of the placenta, called a molar pregnancy.

Symptoms

Symptoms include vaginal bleeding and pain.

Treatments

Treatment involves chemotherapy. Surgery to remove the uterus and radiation may be needed.
