Overview

Albinism includes a group of inherited disorders characterized by little or no production of the pigment melanin. Most people with albinism are sensitive to the sun, are at higher risk of skin cancer, and have eye conditions.

Treatments

No cure exists, but skin can be protected and eye conditions can be treated.
