A basic course designed to help women experience a healthy pregnancy and birth. This class will prepare each woman and birth partner for their childbirth and postpartum experience. Covers pregnancy concerns, comfort measures, labor coping tools and positions,
medical interventions, role of the labor partner, and newborn and postpartum adjustment.
All classes are held in the St. Elizabeth Dearborn Conference and Education Center.
Classes are in-person and free to patients delivering at St. Elizabeth Dearborn.
All participants must:
- Wear a mask that covers both the nose and mouth at all times. Cloth or other homemade masks are acceptable.
- Temperature screen upon entry and answer symptomatic questions.
- Perform hand hygiene
- Maintain six feet of social distancing at all times during classes.
