St. Elizabeth Healthcare is looking for some fluffy, warmhearted and cuddly pets for our Paws for Patients Therapy Animal Program. Learn more about becoming an animal assisted therapy volunteer by contacting the Volunteer Office at (859) 301-2140 or volunteer@stelizabeth.com.
Other Information to note:
- All Animal Assisted Therapy Teams at St. Elizabeth Healthcare must be registered through Pet Partners (local affiliate is Therapy Pets of Greater Cincinnati or TPGC)
- Once registered, St. Elizabeth will process and mentor (with a current Animal Assisted Therapy team) all new teams
- Ideally, we like volunteers to come once per week, when possible; Days/times are flexible and based on volunteer’s schedule
Please Note: Information Sessions are for handlers only. Please do not bring pets.
