Appropriate ages 9 - 12. Designed to encourage open communication between parents and sons regarding puberty in a Christian based setting. The topics of discussion include male anatomy; physical changes of puberty, including growth, hair and voice changes; emotional changes; what is a wet dream, an erection and why does this happen; changes in sweat and oil glands; the need for healthy lifestyle during adolescence. The class ends with a 16 minute video that reinforces what was discussed during class. Handouts are given to parents. A booklet is given to sons.
