We have 3 convenient outpatient sites that provide prescription, specialty, and over-the counter medications, as well as a team dedicated to supporting patients as they are discharged from the hospital.

The St. Elizabeth Specialty Pharmacy focuses on filling prescriptions for patients with critical and complex conditions, such as cancer, HIV, and Hepatitis C. Our dedicated team of pharmacists, nurses, patient care coordinators and specialty technicians work in cooperation with your provider to coordinate your specialty care. We’ll be right there for you every step of the way to manage side effects, answer your questions, and ensure access and affordability to the care that you need.

Northern Kentucky Drug Drop Box Locations

Safely Get Rid of Unused Medications

Northern Kentucky residents! You can now conveniently and responsibly throw out unused, expired or unnecessary medications at a Drug Drop Box location near you.

Here’s how to do it:

  1. Identify any medications you no longer need.
  2. Remove any prescription labels from the containers.
  3. Put the unmarked containers and medications in a resealable plastic bag.
  4. Take the bag to any Drug Drop Box site.

Note: Drug Drop Boxes are for prescription and over-the-counter medicines, but please do not place needles, liquids or vitamins in these boxes.

All our St. Elizabeth Outpatient Pharmacies are open to anyone who wishes to have their prescriptions filled there.

Yes. Our outpatient pharmacies are “in network” for all St. Elizabeth Healthcare insurance plans.

Yes. If you have activated your employee ID badge to be used for payroll deduction, you may use it to pay for prescription or over-the-counter items at any of our outpatient pharmacies. If you have not set up this service, but would like to, you may enroll through Employee Self Service on the intranet.

Yes. Regardless of which facility your surgery took place at, you may request to have your prescriptions filled by one of our outpatient pharmacies. If eligible, our Discharge Medication Delivery team may also be able to help fill your prescriptions and deliver them to you prior to being discharged home.

We accept most insurance plans. If you are unsure as to whether or not your plan is accepted, you may call us at the numbers below. You may also choose to contact your insurance company to ask if we are considered “in network.”

Yes. We accept all prescriptions electronically as long your provider has the capability.

We offer easy access to prescription refills through MyChart or you can call the pharmacy.

You will receive a MyChart notification when you prescription is ready for pickup.
