Born and bred in Ft. Thomas, rising star athlete Sam Vinson chased his dream of playing college basketball from the courts of Highlands High School to the bright lights of Truist Arena. As he elevated his game at Northern Kentucky University, Sam sustained a season-ending ACL injury – leaving him uncertain of his future.
Sam received care from the surgical team at St. Elizabeth with OrthoCincy’s Dr. Forest Heis – jumpstarting his comeback to the court. He has navigated his road to recovery each day since with the heart of a champion – and St. Elizabeth by his side.
