Please keep in mind that your bill covers services provided by the hospital. You may receive separate bills directly from your personal physician, emergency room physician, surgeon, anesthesiologist, pathologist, radiologist or other physician consultants.
If you have recently changed insurance companies or if your address has changed, please be sure to notify one of our representatives in Patient Accounts.
For our insured patients, it is important that you present your current insurance card at each visit for us to bill your insurance properly. A delay in providing accurate insurance information can cause St. Elizabeth to bill you.
Co-payments
In an effort to provide a high level of customer service and for ease of billing to you, our patients, registration and other patient access staff will be collecting co-payments and deductibles prior to and at the time of service. Our patients may set-up a payment arrangement with our staff at the time of service.

St. Elizabeth Patient Pricing
Here at St. Elizabeth, we believe that your care should come first. As a result, all patients are charged the same amount, regardless of their ability to pay. A patient’s responsibility may vary depending on the co-pays, coinsurance, deductible, and non-covered service of each insurance policy. It’s important to note that the charges listed on the price list provided, do not include charges for the physician’s fees unless otherwise noted.

Patient Protection for Out-of-Network Billing
When you get emergency care or are treated by an out-of-network provider at an in-network hospital or ambulatory surgical center, you are protected from balance billing. In these cases, you shouldn’t be charged more than your plan’s copayments, coinsurance and/or deductible.
