Media Relations
The media relations team is available to respond to journalists’ inquiries and requests. In addition to providing news releases and health tips, we also provide photographs and digital images, interview scheduling, location for on-site taping or remote interviewing, and obtain all necessary permission. For more information, please contact our public relations team at (859) 301-6300 or (859) 301-6315.
Provider or Associate Interviews
The St. Elizabeth Healthcare media relations team provides assistance to news reporters, photographers and video crews who wish to arrange phone interviews or in-person sessions with St. Elizabeth physicians, staff and patients. Please contact our main public relations line at (859) 301-6300 or (859) 301-6315.
Calling After Hours
Reporters calling before or after regular business hours should call (859) 301-2000 and ask the operator to page the media relations representative on-call.
Patient Interviews or Photos
When the media wants to interview or photograph a patient, our media relations representative coordinates with the appropriate hospital staff to ensure the patient is physically and emotionally capable.
The media relations representative must obtain the patient’s permission in advance. If the patient is a minor, permission must be obtained from the parent or legal guardian. Media representatives will be accompanied by a St. Elizabeth Healthcare media relations professional at all times while in the hospital.
