Overview

Cavernous hemangioma is a noncancerous mass in the liver.

Symptoms

There are no symptoms. There's no evidence that this kind of noncancerous mass can lead to liver cancer.

Treatments

Most masses don't need treatment. If a mass becomes large and presses on other structures in the belly, surgery might be needed.
