Overview

Egg allergy is a common allergy in which the body reacts to the consumption of eggs.

Symptoms

Symptoms include skin rashes, hives, runny nose, and vomiting. Reactions can vary from mild to serious.

Treatments

Antihistamines can ease symptoms. An adrenaline (epinephrine) shot and emergency care are needed for a severe reaction.
