Cardiovascular disease is the number one killer of women age twenty five and older. Despite that statistic, most women still believe it is a man’s disease.

This informational session is for woman who want to learn more about ways to prevent heart disease and stroke. Brian Burkhardt, APRN for the St. Elizabeth Vascular Institute will explain how woman’s symptoms differ from men for heart attack and stroke. Following the presentation, there will be a question and answer session.
