Alcohol and Drug Treatment

Al Anon Northern Kentucky

Alzheimer's Care

Alzheimer's Support Group
This support group is for alzheimer's caregivers and their patients or loved ones who suffer from memory loss. There are two meetings to choose from:

St. Elizabeth Ft. Thomas
Cancer Treatment Center Conference Room

When: 2nd Tuesday of each month, 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

When: 4th Thursday of each month, 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

*Please Note: Caregiving for the Alzheimer's patient is available during the meetings. Talk to the group leader about this service.

Caregiver Support Group
This support group meeets on the 3rd Thursday of each month from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. to learn from professionals on topics such as financial planning, Medicare, and housing alternatives.

Cancer Care

Breast Cancer Support Group

Helping Each Other
This group is for women who have been touched by breast cancer. It meets on the first Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m.

Look Good, Feel Better
This program is sponsored by the American Cancer Society (ACS) and helps women deal with the physical effects of chemotherapy and radiation.

Prostate Cancer Networking Group
This prostate cancer support group is sponsored by the Cancer Support Community. It meets on the first Thursday of each month at 6:00 p.m.

Reach to Recovery
This group offers one-on-one support for newly diagnosed breast cancer patients. The American Cancer Society will set you up with a survivor who can help you through your emotional journey.

Diabetes Patient Support Group
This group is designed for people living with diabetes. It is facilitated by a Certified Diabetes Educator. It meets on the fourth Thursday of every month from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

Diabetes Self Management Group
This group is designed to help educate individuals about how to best manage diabetes in their day-to-day lives. It meets on the 3rd Thursday of every other month from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Heroin Addiction and Support

NKY Hates Heroin
NKY Hates Heroin mission is to provide support and aid to those affected by addiction and their families. Partnering with our communities through awareness, resources and education for prevention.

Northern Kentucky Heroin Hotline
The hotline is for anyone with questions or needs help with heroin addiction. The hotline is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and is answered by a licensed professional counselor.

Heroin Anonymous
This support group is for those struggling with heroin addiction. There is a family support group that takes place at the same time.
When: Fridays, 7:00 p.m.

The KY Caregiver Support Program for Grandparents
This group is for grandparents raising grandchildren and is designed to help support the efforts of grandparents with information and services that will benefit and improve their quality of life.

Nami offers the following groups:
