With our patients needs in mind, St. Elizabeth Healthcare has created the Total Joint Center. The center includes 7D, the dedicated Orthopaedic Unit made up of 36 patient suites and located on the seventh floor of our Edgewood campus; a spacious rehabilitation area dedicated to providing Physical and Occupational Therapy to our total joint patients and a classroom to accommodate patient/family education, seminars, and other educational events.
The center offers a Coordinator who provides patient and staff education and assumes the role of liaison between the patient and their family and our physicians and staff. The Coordinator, Nurse Manager, Assistant Nurse Manager and Team Leaders work closely with staff to provide the best possible care to our family of patients.
The Total Joint Center provides St. Elizabeth Healthcare with an exciting opportunity to build on an already high performing program. HealthGrades has recognized St. Elizabeth Healthcare as “Best in Greater Cincinnati for Joint Replacement Surgery” six times (from 2007-2012).
If a total joint replacement is in your future, the Total Joint Center at St. Elizabeth Edgewood is available to provide the individualized care and support you need to return to a more active lifestyle.
