PGY1 Pharmacy Residents

Dr. Emma Bernesser

Dr. Emma Bernesser

Dr. Emma Bernesser is currently serving as a PGY1 Pharmacy Resident at St. Elizabeth Healthcare – Edgewood. She received her Bachelor of Science in Human Health Sciences at the University of Kentucky. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy in 2023. During pharmacy school, Emma worked at UK Healthcare’s Kentucky Clinic Pharmacy in Lexington, KY. Upon completion of her PGY1 residency, Emma plans to pursue a career in ambulatory care pharmacy. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, traveling to national parks, and cheering on all the Cincinnati sports teams.

Dr. Emily Bales

Dr. Emily Bales

Dr. Emily Bales is currently serving as a PGY1 Pharmacy Resident at St. Elizabeth Healthcare – Dearborn. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2023. Upon completion of her PGY1 residency, she hopes to pursue a PGY2 Oncology Pharmacy Residency. In her spare time, she enjoys playing disc golf, exploring nature and spending time with her dog, husband and family.

Dr. Lauren Auteri

Dr. Lauren Auteri

Dr. Lauren Auteri is currently serving as a PGY1 Pharmacy Resident at St. Elizabeth Healthcare – Edgewood. She completed her undergraduate course work at the University of Kentucky before earning her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Cincinnati. During pharmacy school, Lauren worked as an intern at St. Elizabeth Healthcare’s Edgewood Inpatient Pharmacy. Lauren plans to pursue a career as a clinical pharmacist in ambulatory care and obtain board certification. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, exploring restaurants around Cincinnati (especially those that are dog-friendly), and traveling when possible.

Dr. Tara Rennekamp

Dr. Tara Rennekamp

Dr. Tara Rennekamp is currently serving as a PGY1 Pharmacy Resident at St. Elizabeth Healthcare – Edgewood. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy and Master of Pharmacy Leadership degrees from the University of Cincinnati James L. Winkle College of Pharmacy in 2023. Prior to residency, Tara gained experience working as a pharmacy intern at Kroger Pharmacy as well as St. Elizabeth Florence Inpatient Pharmacy. Following completion of her PGY1 residency, Tara plans to pursue a career as an inpatient clinical pharmacist in emergency medicine or critical care. In her spare time, she enjoys cycling, trying out new coffee shops and restaurants, and spending time with her family and friends.

Dr. Michelle Leshchinsky

Dr. Michelle Leshchinsky

Dr. Michelle Leshchinsky is currently serving as a PGY1 Pharmacy Resident at St. Elizabeth Healthcare – Florence. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the University of Cincinnati James L. Winkle College of Pharmacy in 2023. Before pharmacy school, Michelle completed a Bachelor’s in Neuroscience and a minor in Judaic Studies. She was an intern at Hoxworth Outpatient Pharmacy and CVS during pharmacy school. Her pharmacy interests include cardiology, internal medicine, and ambulatory care. In her spare time, she enjoys playing tennis, cooking, and exploring parks with her miniature Australian shepherd.

Dr. Claire Roell

Dr. Claire Roell

Dr. Claire Roell is currently serving as a PGY1 Pharmacy Resident at St. Elizabeth Healthcare – Fort Thomas. She completed her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from University of Cincinnati James L. Winkle College of Pharmacy in 2023. Prior to residency, Claire worked as a pharmacy intern at University of Cincinnati Medical Center Inpatient Pharmacy. Upon completion of her PGY1 residency, Claire hopes to pursue a PGY2 Pharmacy Residency in ambulatory care. In her spare time, Claire enjoys exploring new restaurants, hiking trails with her fiancé, and playing Euchre with her family.

Dr. Chelsea Fuller

Dr. Chelsea Fuller

Dr. Chelsea Fuller is currently serving as a PGY1 Pharmacy Resident at St. Elizabeth Healthcare – Edgewood. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Cincinnati James L. Winkle College of Pharmacy. During pharmacy school, Chelsea gained experience as an intern at Kroger Pharmacy and The Christ Hospital inpatient pharmacy. Her special interests include ambulatory care and emergency medicine. Following the completion of her PGY1 residency she intends to pursue a PGY2 Pharmacy Residency. In her spare time, she enjoys camping, crafting with her two cats by her side (Mimi and Evie), and seeking out local restaurants and shops.

Dr. Megan Than Win

Dr. Megan Than Win

Dr. Megan Than Win is currently serving as a PGY2 Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Resident at St. Elizbeth Healthcare. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the University of Cincinnati in 2022 and completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in 2023. Upon completion of her residency training, Dr. Than Win hopes to pursue a career as a clinical pharmacist in ambulatory care and academia. Outside of pharmacy, Megan enjoys trying new restaurants and recipes, and spending time with friends, family, and her senior dog, Zoey.

Dr. Chantell Cantrell

Dr. Chantell Cantrell

Dr. Chantell Cantrell is currently serving as a PGY2 Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Resident for St. Elizabeth Healthcare. Chantell completed her undergraduate coursework at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Go Hokies!) before earning her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Pharmacy. She completed her PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in 2023. Upon completion of her PGY2 residency, Dr. Cantrell hopes to pursue a career as a clinical pharmacist in psychiatric ambulatory care while also precepting students and residents. In her spare time, Chantell enjoys trying new restaurants, traveling, going to concerts, shopping, and spending time with her family and friends.

Dr. Fernando Amaya

Dr. Fernando Amaya

Dr. Fernando Amaya is currently serving as a PGY2 Oncology Pharmacy Resident at St. Elizbeth Healthcare. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry before earning his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Utah College of Pharmacy. He completed his PGY1 residency at Sky Lakes Medical Center in Klamath Falls, OR. His clinical interests include hematologic malignancies, pharmacogenomics and immunology. Following completion of his residency, Fernando hopes to become a board-certified clinical oncology pharmacy specialist and preceptor. Outside of pharmacy, Fernando enjoys playing guitar, socializing with friends, and cheering for Liverpool FC with his wife.
