She is a 2016 graduate of Sullivan University College of Pharmacy in Louisville, Kentucky, where she earned her doctor of pharmacy degree. She was previously a pharmacist for CVS Health. Following the completion of her PGY1 residency, Marilin hopes to pursue a career as a clinical pharmacist. Dr. Castle is originally from Versailles, Kentucky. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time outdoors, exploring different cuisines with her friends, and going on vacations with her family. Dr. Raymond Meddock is currently serving as a Postgraduate Year 1 (PGY1) Resident for St. Elizabeth Healthcare. He is a 2016 graduate of Ohio Northern University’s Raabe College of Pharmacy, where he earned his doctor of pharmacy degree. He was previously an intern at Rite Aid Pharmacy and worked as a PRN pharmacist for St Elizabeth Healthcare. Following the completion of his PGY1 residency, Dr. Meddock hopes to pursue a career in inpatient clinical pharmacy and academia. He is originally from Blanchester, Ohio and in his spare time he enjoys playing videogames, making people laugh, and spending time with friends and family. July 2017 Residency Class Dr. Elizabeth Berryman is currently serving as a PGY1 Pharmacy Resident at St. Elizabeth Healthcare – Fort Thomas. A native of Lexington, KY, Dr. Berryman completed her Bachelor of Arts degree at Centre College in Danville, KY. She then earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at Lipscomb University College of Pharmacy in Nashville, TN. Following completion of this PGY1 residency, Dr. Berryman hopes to pursue a career in Ambulatory Care or as an inpatient clinical pharmacist. In her free time, she enjoys reading and traveling to new places. Dr. Brittani Carlington is currently serving as a PGY1 Pharmacy Resident at St. Elizabeth Healthcare - Florence. She completed her undergraduate coursework at Spelman College and she is a 2017 graduate of Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she earned her doctor of pharmacy. During pharmacy school, she worked as an intern at a compounding pharmacy and at Gwinnett Medical Center in Lawrenceville, GA. Upon completion of her PGY1 residency, Dr. Carlington hopes to pursue a career in infectious diseases or critical care pharmacy. She is originally from Bermuda, and enjoys working out, trying new restaurants, and traveling. Dr. Emma Hatfield is currently serving as a PGY1 Pharmacy Resident for St. Elizabeth Healthcare - Edgewood. She completed her undergraduate coursework at Northern Kentucky University and is a 2017 graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy where she earned her doctor of pharmacy degree. She was previously an intern for Walgreens Pharmacy. Following the completion of her PGY1 residency, Dr. Hatfield hopes to pursue a career in clinical pharmacy. Dr. Hatfield is originally from Fort Thomas, Kentucky and enjoys spending time with her friends and family. In her spare time she also enjoys running, baking, watching Jeopardy, and playing with her dog, Buddy. Dr. Shelbi Vincent is currently serving as a PGY1 Pharmacy Resident for St. Elizabeth Healthcare - Edgewood. She completed her studies at the University of Cincinnati, where she received her Bachelor of Science in biology before earning her Doctor of Pharmacy from UC’s James L. Winkle College of Pharmacy in 2017. Shelbi worked as a pharmacy intern at The Jewish Hospital and Walgreen’s pharmacy. Following the completion of her PGY1 residency, she plans to pursue a career as a clinical pharmacist, with a focus in cardiology. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, going to concerts, puzzles, and cooking.
