St. Elizabeth's health sciences library provides services to physicians, nurses, and associates of St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Resources are provided to patients and families of St. Elizabeth Medical Center via the Library’s collection of consumer health resources collected on our website.

- Reference Services for physicians, nurses, and all associates affiliated with St. Elizabeth Medical Center
- Delivery of articles directly to your email
- Full-text of selected health care books and journals available via the Library’s website
- Databases spanning the world’s biomedical, nursing, allied health, administration and business information for direct use or with assistance via the Librarian.
- Participation in special events and presentations covering a variety of library services
- Consumer information services via the Library’s website, designed to meet the needs of patients and families who are seeking more information on a particular health topic
- Individual or group consultation with librarian in navigating the world of information to find best information for your specific need. Tools created to empower you in using existing resources, while knowing you have a professional close-at-hand to help you when needed.
- “Visit the Library” in-person, by website, phone or email. Use the special “Ask The Librarian” request form via the website.
- Essentially all of the library’s electronic resources available through our website are available through every SEMC Internet-ready computer. In addition, many are available to you from any location outside of SEMC with Internet access.
- Computers in the library available for your use during library hours.
- Quiet place to work, relax, get away for a bit, and have a piece of chocolate.
