Mobile Health at St. Elizabeth
As we prioritize our busy lives, we tend to focus more on what’s convenient than on what’s important. So St. Elizabeth Healthcare came up with a way to make one of the most important things – taking care of your health – a little more convenient.
We believe so strongly in the importance of staying up-to-date with medical screenings that we will bring the screenings to you! St. Elizabeth currently deploys two Mobile Health Screening Units – Cardiovascular and Mammography.
CardioVascular Mobile Health Unit
The CardioVascular Mobile Health Unit, sponsored by the Bank of Kentucky and made possible by the generous support of John C. Holmes, M.D., along with contributions from St. Elizabeth 2008-10 Vision employee donors, is equipped with state-of-the-art EKG and ultrasound equipment to perform an array of on-site tests aimed at detecting several risky health conditions including:
- Carotid artery disease
- Peripheral arterial disease (To learn more about P.A.D, please click here.)
- Abdominal aortic aneurysm
- High blood pressure
- Abnormal blood glucose levels
Mobile Mammography
St. Elizabeth’s Digital Mobile Mammography
program brings the highest quality
mammography services to you right at your
workplace or community center. It’s the
most highly recommended technology
