Bed linens are provided at the facility; therefore, patients do not need to bring their own. Items that should be brought for your inpatient stay are: Enough clothing for three or four days (there is a washer and dryer available for patient use) One small personal care bag (there is a size limit on the bag as well as a limit on the amount of cosmetics and hygiene products patients are permitted to bring) A notebook and writing utensils AA/NA literature Patients are NOT permitted to bring any of the following items: Stuffed animals Picture frames with glass Electronic devices (this includes – but is not limited to – radios, CD players, laptops, MP3 players, electronic readers or games, cell phones and tablets) Excessive cosmetics Razors and nail files Perfume, cologne, aftershave or any other products containing alcohol Valuables We recommend that patients not bring any valuables with them. If you do choose to bring valuables with you, please make arrangements with our staff to have them placed in the facility’s locked area. St. Elizabeth Healthcare is only responsible for valuables that are kept in the locked area. Patient Parking Patients are permitted to drive themselves to the facility and keep their vehicle on the premises during their stay. However, they must give their keys to the nursing staff upon arrival to be locked in the valuables area. We encourage all patients that drive to the facility to park in the furthest parking spaces, to allow for easier and more convenient parking for visitors.
