About Us
People in Union, Richwood, Burlington, Florence, Independence and surrounding areas have a convenient resource for diagnostic tests and therapy services. Located just off Mt. Zion Road at 10095 Investment Way, Suite 1, Florence Kentucky, St. Elizabeth Healthcare’s Diagnostic Center Mt. Zion offers easily accessible outpatient services closer to home. We provide a wide range of diagnostic and rehabilitative services to the community. Services include laboratory, radiology, EKG, holter and event monitors as well as physical therapy services. The mobile mammography van comes to this site quarterly.
Diagnostic Services Offered
Cardiac Services
Both holter and event monitors are available at the Diagnostic center. Patients wear this device during normal day to day activities. This device allows the physician to study a patient’s heart rhythm. You must call ahead to schedule an appointment.
Laboratory
This site provides lab services for blood draw and collection. Most specimens are sent by courier to the main hospital for processing. However, some specimens require being sent to reference labs.
Radiology
We perform non contrast diagnostic x-rays. We treat all ages from pediatric through the geriatric population. A physician's order is required for this type of procedure. All x-rays are read by a radiologist and are stored. Results are usually available within 24 hours through your ordering physician.

Physical Therapy
Physical Therapy at the Diagnostic Center Mt. Zion is offered thru St. Elizabeth Sports Medicine and utilizes a comprehensive approach. We do a thorough 30-60 minute evaluation. Follow up visits are 30 minutes each scheduled individually. Our team is skilled in a variety of manual therapy techniques and specialized therapeutic exercise principles. Special interest areas include orthopedics of the lumbar and cervical spine, knee, shoulder, foot and hip. Attention is focused on functional return. We help people alleviate pain, and increase strength, balance and endurance in a functional manner specific to the individual.

Diagnostic Services are walk in.
- Lab, X-ray and EKG:Monday - Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Friday 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Therapy Services - scheduled by appointment only.
- Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
- Wednesday 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Friday 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
