David Parks, M.D. -- Medical Director
David Parks, M.D serves as the full-time Hospice Medical Director for St. Elizabeth Healthcare. He is board certified in Family Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Medicine. He is also a Certified Hospice Medical Director.
Dr. Parks is a native of Owensboro, KY. He earned his medical degree from the University of Louisville and his master of business administration from Vanderbilt University. He has served for many years as an emergency physician in Bowling Green, KY, in addition to his more recent work in hospice care with Hospice of Southern Kentucky.
Lawrence Brennan, M.D. - Associate Medical Director
Lawrence Brennan, M.D. is originally from Covington, KY. He currently serves as an Associate Medical Director for St. Elizabeth Hospice. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor of science from Xavier University in 1974. He also earned his MD from the University of Kentucky, College of Medicine in 1978. He completed both his Residency and his Fellowship at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.
In addition to his responsibilities as Associate Medical Director for St. Elizabeth Hospice, Dr. Brennan also serves as a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Fertility Preservation Panel. He also serves as Chairman of the Campbell County Board of Health and a Member of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee for Oncology Hematology Care (OHC).
Dr. Brennan is licensed in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP), and is a member of the Campbell/Kenton County Medical Society, American Society of Clinical Oncology, Kentucky Medical Association, American College of Hospice Physicians and the American Society of Hematology.
Dr. Brennan is a recipient of the American Cancer Society Institutional Grant titled “Anthracycline Therapy and Granulocyte Dysfunction” and is board-certified in both Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Brennan enjoys woodworking (particularly building furniture) and fly fishing. While he also enjoys golf, he admits, he is a much better fisherman.
Michelle Redden-Borowski, M.D. - Associate Medical Director
Michele Redden-Borowski, M.D. earned her bachelor of arts from Indiana University in 1974 and her M.D. from the University of Louisville in 1978. She completed her Internship and her Residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Cincinnati in 1979 and 1980 respectively. She also completed one year of Residency at the University of Louisville from 1980 to 1981 and her Fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at the University of Cincinnati Hospital from 1983 to 1985.
Dr. Redden-Borowski began serving in Private Practice of Medical Oncology and Hematology in 1985 and continues to serve in that capacity today. From 1997 to 2001 she also served as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine for the University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine, Division of Hematology/Oncology.
Dr. Reden-Borowski is an active member of the Kentucky Medical Association, the Northern Kentucky Medical Society, the Ohio State Medical Association and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
She earned her certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine in 1981 and the American Board of Internal Medicine; Medical Oncology in 1987. She is licensed to practice in both Ohio and Kentucky.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Reden-Borowski enjoys scuba diving.
William Stafford, M.D. - Associate Medical Director
Dr. William L. Stafford, Jr. serves as an Assistant Director for St. Elizabeth Family Medicine Residency. He is a 1981 graduate of the University of Virginia, School of Medicine and completed his family medicine residency at Roanoke Memorial Hospitals in Virginia. Prior to joining the St. Elizabeth faculty in 2001, Dr. Stafford practiced in both Covington and Edgewood, as well as community health centers in rural Appalachia and the inner city.
Dr. Stafford holds a certificate of added qualifications in geriatrics, which is his particular field of interest. He also serves as medical director at several local nursing homes.
Aside from geriatrics, Dr. Stafford is interested in learning more about pain management, medical ethical issues, terminal care and the physician-patient relationship. Outside of medicine, his interests include building and modifying home computers, computer gaming, science fiction, cooking and racquetball.
Laura Greene - Nurse Practitioner
Laura Greene serves as a Nurse Practitioner for St. Elizabeth Hospice. She is a graduate of Northern Kentucky University where she earned her RN degree in 1991 and her APRN in 1998. She has been a member of the St. Elizabeth Hospice team since 2011.
Ms. Greene’s professional background is in family medicine, pediatrics and women’s health. She is married and has three children. Outside of medicine, she enjoys travel and playing soccer.
