The perfect summer recipe (in our book) would combine two things: healthy, fresh ingredients and our grill. Bon Appétit has a fresh take on Caprese salad that does just that.
Ingredients
- Tomatoes, cut into 1-inch wedges
- Burrata
- Red wine vinegar
- Salt
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Purple basil (for a different color and flavor)
Instructions
- Light the grill and get it hot
- Grill the tomato wedges for a couple minutes on each side.
- Combine the freshly-grilled tomatoes with cold wedges of burrata and some of the smaller purple basil leaves.
