Mocktails are cocktails that don’t have any alcohol added. If you’re expecting guests who are pregnant, under 21 or others who may not drink alcohol at your holiday party, these recipes will be a hit. You can dress them up by serving in a fancy glass and garnishing with fresh fruit. We can’t wait to try the Grapefruit Mojito at our New Year’s Eve Bash. Each recipe yields 4-6 servings. Grapefruit Mojito
1 each Ruby Red Grapefruit ““ Segmented
1/4 cup Agave Syrup
12 each Mint Leaves
2 cups Grapefruit Soda or Mineral Water
4 each Mint Leaves – Garnish
Combine syrup and mint leaves, mash together with a muddler. Add the grapefruit soda to the mint, strain into glasses filled with ice. Garnish with grapefruit and mint leaves.
Hibiscus Cosmo
1 1/4 cup Water
1/4 cup Honey
6 bags Hibiscus Tea ““ Red Zinger
1 each Lime
1/2 cup Coconut Water
1 liter Lemon/Lime Soda
Steep the tea in hot water, add honey and allow to cool. Remove the teabags. Add the lime juice and coconut water. Mix the tea mixture with soda, serve over crushed ice.
Pom-Berry Bellini
1/3 cup Pomegranate Juice
1/2 cup Blueberry Jam
1 bottle Non-Alcohol Champagne or Sparkling Cider
1/2 cup Blueberries – Garnish
Mix all ingredients together, serve in champagne glasses garnished with blue berries.
Chambord Kir Royal
4 tablespoons Chambord
1 bottle Champagne or Non-Alcohol Champagne
Pour the champagne into glasses and add the Chambord.
Rosemary Citrus Punch
2 each Lemons
2 each Oranges
4 each Rosemary Sprigs
3/4 cup Sugar
1/4 cup Honey
1 liter Soda Water
Juice the lemons and oranges. Add the rosemary, sugar and honey – bring to a boil to dissolve the sugar. Strain to remove the rosemary. Mix the juice with soda water and serve over ice.
