Come learn how to use your professional nursing knowledge and skills to deliver whole person care...body, mind and spirit...in a congregation, community based health ministries setting or in your current nursing practice.
While the full course is designed for nurses, we have created day one as a stand alone session for all members of a health ministries team. This session will provide an overview of health ministries, giving attendees information to establish and grow health ministries within a faith based setting.
Introductory Session March 23, 2013
Atrium Medical Center Professional Building
Education Center Auditorium, Middletown, OH
This session may serve as a stand alone introduction into the concepts of both Health Ministry and Faith Community Nursing (FCN). It is appropriate for all members of a health ministry team including: nurses, allied health professionals, clergy and congregational staff.
Continued Training for Health Ministries Nursing Staff April 26-28, 2013
Jesuit Spiritual Retreat Center
Milford, OH
This three-day session completes the Faith Community Nursing (FCN) Foundations course and is offered as a follow-up to the first session.
Attending both the introductory setting and the 3-day follow up is important for all nurses who are part of a Health Ministry team, but most especially for those seeking Faith Community Nurse certification in the future.
